Description
This video is my fingerstyle arrangement of the traditional folk / country waltz “Beautiful Brown Eyes”. To differentiate the verse and chorus parts (which have similar melodies), I used contrasting arrangement schemes. For the verse part, I created rhythmic separation between melody and bass by using a highly syncopated bass line. For the chorus part, I kept both melody and bass much more on-the-beat, and added inner voices, thus creating a more “blocky” feel.
