On this Fleet Friday we get an up close look at South Metro's newest Aircraft Rescue & Firefighting (ARFF) apparatus, "RED 2." This 2023 Oshkosh Striker features a 1,500 gallon water tank, 500lbs of dry chemical and 210 gallons of foam. This vehicle is cross-staffed by the crew of 4 personnel from Engine Company 44.

During 2022 this ARFF Unit responded to 58 incidents.
