I've been writing and recording a new Jazz Rock song called 'Toe the Line.' In this video the opening progression is featured, followed by the return of the progression halfway through the song. The two melodies do sound quite different, but I am trying to keep things as fresh as possible while staying true to the core idea of the song.

I write guitar-centric music that draws from rock, funk, jazz, soul, blues, and fusion. All of my songs are recorded in a home studio, where they are also mixed and mastered. David Gilmour, Eric Johnson, Frank Zappa, Pat Metheny, George Benson, Steve Vai, Guthrie Govan, Nick Johnston, Larry Mitchell, and Andy Timmons are major influences.
