The Movement of Progress attempts to capture the feeling of improving or being successful through effort. It is a celebration of our capacity for achievement. It is during moments of hard-won achievement that I have felt most connected with life.
This song started out several years ago as a progression to practice with. As I practiced, I noticed that I was drawn to certain motifs. These began to add up, and I soon found myself with a song.
