Slip Hop Slide is a companion piece to Strands of Avalon. Together they represent a soulful turn in my songwriting, while still preserving some rock elements.
I write guitar-centric music that draws from rock, funk, jazz, soul, blues, and fusion. All of my songs are recorded in a home studio, where they are also mixed and mastered. David Gilmour, Eric Johnson, Frank Zappa, Pat Metheny, George Benson, Steve Vai, Guthrie Govan, and Nick Johnston are major influences.
The song was mixed and mastered in the box using plug-ins from Universal Audio and Reaper. This song is available for purchase on iTunes, and it can also be streamed on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and here on YouTube.
