VirtualDub was being VirtualDub and not recording properly so I had to capture the examples via OBS hence the interlacing issues.
When I said S-Video I actually meant S-VHS. Interestingly the two have become so synonymous that this error was also very common amongst consumers. The Panasonic and JVC models you are really looking out for are the Promsumer S-VHS and editing decks. At the end of the day my machine is just another consumer level deck.

I uploaded this once before in the very early days of using my scanner. This copy was in a spool of random stuff I scanned today so I thought I would try processing it again uncropped. Makes a good comparison so see how Ive improved.
This must have been fairly early as it still has the cyan transitional soundtrack. Missing a couple of frames of fade out at the end but the audio track is all there.")

In light of reaching 2000-ish subscribers I thought I would dip back into the archives and reupload an overscanned version of a classic I originally uploaded in March 2021.
This was made using the original frame captures from that time when I was still getting to grips with the scanner so I have done my best to improve the image quality and it has also been restabilised using my current methodology which delivers vastly superior results. Id still like to recapture this and other short pieces I have at some point.
Thanks to everyone who has subscribed, this channel doesnt really have a plan or theme I just upload things that I like and it seems like a lot of other people enjoy seeing them too, so thanks!")
