However if they did do this, they could have put themselves in legal hot water as it would have been a clear misuse of the DMCA. Contract disputes are not an issue of copyright. A DMCA is a tool if someone reposts your content without permission. Of course fair use must be considered when filing a copyright claim. However, trizzy66 did not violate Rebecca Black's copyright as the video was not made by her. The song Friday was made and produced by Arc Music which runs the trizzy66 channel. The fact that Black and Arc Music are in a contract dispute is not an issue of copyright.
