Six months ago, I built a budget desktop work rig for my video edition, using an AMD Ryzen 5 5500GT and an RTX 5050 on paper before release I thought this cheap DIY build would get close to Steam machine performance. Now, I’m putting them side-by-side to test real-world gameplay, frame time consistency, and actual value across Cyberpunk 2077, Monster Hunter Wilds, Monster Hunter Rise, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and No Man's Sky.
