With the "Ascendance" Master Rank expansion officially announced, a massive question is hanging over Monster Hunter Wilds: Is the base game finally optimized, or is it still a buggy performance nightmare?

At launch, Wilds choked even the beefiest gaming rigs with aggressive CPU bottlenecks, texture streaming lag, and game-breaking stability issues. But after Title Update 4 and over a year of patches, IS WILDS FIXED?
In this video, I test the game across three vastly different hardware tiers to show you exactly how it performs now:
๐ป High-End: RTX 7900XTX + Ryzen 7 7700X (Max settings, 1440p, Ray Tracing)
๐ ๏ธ Mid/Work Rig: RTX 5050 + Ryzen 5 5500GT (Medium settings, 1080p + RT)
๐ฎ Handheld/Low-End: ROG Ally Z1 Extreme (Low/Medium mix)
We also talk the new "CPU Optimization" tab, how Capcom fixed the bizarre DLC frame-drop glitch, and look at the brutal sales data that forced Capcom to take a full year to get this game running the way it should have at launch.
Is it finally safe to jump back in before the expansion drops? Let's find out.
