Something is definitely up with Ny'alotha. We just datamined a new mount talking about how Ny'alotha is rising. We just got brand new Ny'alotha lore from the new lorewalking scenario telling us that N'zoth built something so bad here that Xal'atath just had to attack. Almost certainly something was built here related to the world soul hence the name sleeping city and the second name the sunken city may be because it sank when the titans attacked. However the titans couldn't destroy it, first they did the world tree thing, then their machinery but the ancient old god capital remains. As the fish told us at the start of this expansion in the void sea where no light shines. And remember who always takes the form of a fish - N'zoth. So what is going and are we actually going to see Ny'alotha.
