Everyone loves tacos. What could be better than some authentic tacos al pastor from a typical taquería in the heart of Mexico? But it can be intimidating. What's the difference between a gringa and a volcán or a quesadilla and a tostada. In this video, I was able to spend a whole day in a traditional Mexican taquería in Querétaro's historic center to learn all about Mexico's most famous food, the taco.
We were very lucky to be able to see the whole process of making tacos in Queretaro. We were able to see the whole process of preparing the trompo for the tacos al pastor and find out all the secrets of the taquería. The taquero, Santiago, was so kind to explain all the different kinds of tacos for us and to prepare some of the most delicious authentic Mexican tacos that you can find.
