Trying to overcome my growing uncomfortability of performing, it’s been a long while. Not only that but my fingers hurt after not playing on a regular basis. The guitar is reticent too, the strings are wasted and without a capo on the low e string growls and buzzes horribly. I am not a big Killers fan but an acoustic version of this song on You Tube is quite beautiful and for whatever reason has been a video I have come back too often over the last several weeks. It’s funny how that happens. Also been rediscovering old Kinks songs but mostly I want to write and record this year after I lash new strings to my old wooden pal.
