Very happy that we got around to watch the yearly Best of together with chat like that! I am super super proud of how it turned out and both Henriik and me put a lot of work into it so it was amazing to see everyones positive reaction and people having a great time below the video and in chat during the reaction.
But now onto 2025! There will be more Best of's to come in the future for sure and I can't wait to react to all of those again as well!
And I'm sure that you have been wondering where the Best of Nixxo 2024 is at, I can tell you that it WILL be out eventually. Those things always take a while, especially with a small team like mine, but I am hopeful to still publish it during January this year. I hope you have just a little more patience for it and sit back and relax to enjoy the react/behind the scenes for the Best of 2023!

We have done a good couple of Max% runs recently with an additional ruleset put on top (like a different language or One-Hit KO) but now its honestly time again for a good old classic Max% Speedrun going for a valid time and PB! And especially the valid time aspect is a lot easier said than done in this run since the rules basically involve doing EVERYTHING you could think of in this game which means there are also some things that are easy to forget and miss.
Especially the Trigger All Cutscenes rule is very easy to accidentally break, there are just a ton of small and non-story cutscenes in this game that the devs kind of added in there to make the immersion better and for some great world building. So there were a lot of things to remember especially in the early game of the run! On top of that we of course have to collect everything, cast onto everything, do the normal 100% stuff and even buy items once at every trader in the game!
I absolutely love doing those Max% runs though, they always very much remind me of a casual childhood attempt just walking around interacting with and discovering everything I possibly could back then and it also leads us through a good couple of areas that we havent seen in a while since the Speedrun route doesnt go past it. Always a blast to be doing those, I have to redo that concept again in both Harry Potter 1 (PC) and Harry Potter 3 (PC) again soon as well!
