We got around to play yet another Harry Potter 3 (PC) Custom Map made ALL the way back in 2013 by none other than QBBoss and after the first two maps of his that we played my expectations were honestly pretty high!
And this map certainly brought some new and interesting things to the table including some cool cutscenes and particles, a LOT of difficult fighting and what I believe to be the first ever steealth segment in a custom map for this game! Interesting ideas in level design and cutscenes and I guess the one card you could find in this map was a decent secret BUT the map was sooo incredibly short! The moment you start to have fun and get into it it's basically already over sadly...
Very hard for me to judge this map properly due to it being short but I guess it's around the 6/10 range. I liked what I was seeing overall but there wasn't all that much substance to it, I'm personally still a fan of QBBoss's work and I'm looking forward to play more of his maps in the future!
Oh yeah and we also played a second map during this video because it would have been too short otherwise so here is what I have to say about that one:
Sadly the only map that this creator ever build/uploaded, I would be really curious to see how their maps would be nowadays because this one certainly has some potential. Sure it was all pretty basic in design and look but everything did work out pretty well and the secrets were a good difficulty overall making this map fun to play through and discover. A bit short, a bit barebone but certainly not a bad build.
Maybe this mapper come back for more eventually and improves his style a little bit, for now this is like a 5/10 for me I think...
