Razer sent over their new BlackWidow V4 Tenkeyless Wireless Hyperspeed keyboard to check out and this one definitely delivers on customization and performance.

It’s a hot-swappable board, meaning you can swap out the switches and keycaps to your liking. Mine came with Razer’s orange tactile switches, which sound great, though you can also choose between green clicky or yellow linear switches. It features a 1000Hz polling rate, vibrant RGB lighting, Bluetooth connectivity for up to three devices, and improved battery life over previous models — all for a competitive $179 price point.
Inside the box, Razer includes everything you need to get started: a soft cloth cover, USB cable with an attached dongle, and built-in dongle storage on the keyboard itself. You’ll also find a keycap and switch puller, so you can start customizing right away. The build quality feels premium with a sturdy plastic bottom base, aluminum top case, and double-shot ABS keycaps that let the RGB shine through nicely. The typing experience is responsive and satisfying, thanks to the foam layers that reduce reverb and deliver a well-balanced tone. The top case can even be removed if you ever want to deep clean or spray paint it to match your setup.
As for features, it includes a smooth volume wheel, dedicated media keys, and a clever battery indicator that lights up the number row in 10% increments. Battery life has been solid, lasting about a 2-3 weeks on a single charge with RGB at 80%. You can also enable Power Saving Mode for longer standby time. Whether you’re typing, editing, or gaming, the performance has been consistently reliable with minimal latency and precise input. Overall, the BlackWidow V4 Tenkeyless Wireless is a sleek and versatile keyboard that’s easy to recommend.
