I've had a positive experience with the Google Pixel 8 Pro. The design, with its rounded corners and color options, is sleek and attractive, although I wish the camera housing had a matte finish. The phone's display is impressive, featuring a bright screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, although the text size can be a bit small due to the resolution.
In terms of performance, the Pixel 8 Pro handles most tasks well, though it may not be ideal for heavy gaming or video editing. Battery life is a standout feature, lasting from one day to the next, although it can be impacted by certain apps like wireless Android Auto.
The camera improvements are a highlight, providing great image quality, stabilization, and strong performance in low-light conditions. The addition of manual controls and AI features like Magic Editor is appreciated. The device also offers several other features, with notable improvements in haptic feedback.
The Pixel 8 Pro offers an enhanced Android experience, and I recommend giving it a try, especially with the promise of seven years of software updates.
