It includes a massive 10-inch wireless subwoofer, rear wireless speakers with up-firing drivers, and a long modular soundbar packed with eight speakers. Setup is mostly plug and play, everything pairs automatically, and the wireless CINE MESH system stays rock solid with no dropouts or sync issues during use.
Performance is where the X70 really shows up. Rated at 980 watts peak power with a claimed low end of 20Hz, this system brings serious bass that you can physically feel, especially during action movies. In my 10 by 12 office, it was honestly overkill, shaking the walls and filling the room with sound. Dialogue stays clear thanks to Ultimea’s NeuraCore processing, distortion stays low even at high volumes, and the surround and overhead effects do a solid job creating an immersive 360-degree soundstage.
You also get a lot of control through the Ultimea app, including full EQ adjustments, surround and height tuning, multiple sound presets, and deep customization options if you want to dial things in. While the mounting design could definitely use improvement, the overall value here is strong. If you’re looking for a powerful, wireless Dolby Atmos system with big bass and lots of customization for a living room setup, the Ultimea Skywave X70 is a compelling option worth checking out.
