Someone requested me to arrange this song. The person who requested me to do this, also wants to sing to it (more to come on this later!). I was happy to oblige to the request, as I think it's a fantastic song that has been one of my all-time favorites for forever! Thank you a lot for requesting it!!! Anyway, in my humble opinion, the original "You Were There", from the 2002 album "ICO: Melody in the Mist" was an incredible song that'll echo through people's memories for decades to come. However, I'd like to emphasize that the singing is difficult to follow, and feels more like an after-thought than the song's main part. I'd like to arrange the song by placing special emphasis on vocals and lyrics. For that, I've prepared this off-vocal.
As a little side-note, this song was originally composed by Michiru Oshima (大島ミチル), who also composed the music for the first Fullmetal Alchemist anime (the soundtrack that has Bratja in it). In other words, the reason that this song sounds a lot like Bratja, is because it's the same composer from around the same period.
