The marxist understanding of the state is that it is not a neutral entity serving to keep the peace between all classes as the teacher in the playground of big and small kids. Rather, the state is the tool of one class against the other, and the British state is a dictatorship of the bourgeoise; it serves the interests of one class against the other. The bourgeoise, defined by their attainment of material sustenance via capital, require state power to perpetuate the exploitation of the working class, whereas the working-class requires state power to abolish exploitation. It is only natural that the bourgeois state goes after those who challenge its imperialism. The solution to problem lies in replacing state power entirely by smashing the current bourgeois state as the working class did under the leadership of the Boksheviks in 1917 Russia, but Social Democrats, such as Corbyn & Zultana, under the name of socialism tell us that it is possible to vote for 'socialism' in parliament. These people are not socialists and do not have an interest in building a new state upon the ruins of the current - they live in a wonderland because they are not equipped with a Marxist-Leninist analysis, but hope is not lost: the CPGB-ML, has that analysis and we need need to aid the working-class in understanding how to distinguish between what will keep them in chains, and what will break them. The working class has only its chains to lose and a world to win...
