The British history books do not tell us about the security agreement offered by the Soviet Union to France and Britain to contain Germany which involved the Soviet Union bringing a million soldiers to Berlin; the British history books do not tell us that the Soviet Union was the last of all countries in Europe to make a non-aggression pact with the Nazi regime; the British history books do not tell us that the Soviet's 'invasion' of Poland was into land that became stateless after the polish government fled the country; the British history books do not tell us that it was in fact Britain who egged on the Nazi war machine through the appeasement of the Munich agreement to destroy the socialist project to the east. Despite all this, it is our choice to educate ourselves and cut through the deceptions.
