We are finally getting closer to what we have been dreaming of for 10 years! This week we have added two cows and two pigs to the farm which takes us from a wanabee farm to a farm..... a small farm. If feels so good to have all of our meat on the property! Next step is broilers! We have 130 Cornish Cross coming in a few days 😬. Diving in the deep end this year!

We are Millennial Homesteaders who left the rat race in the city for a "simple life" in the country. We want to relearn sustainability and the skills necessary to raise or grow all of our own food. So many of these skills were second nature to my grandparents generation but nearly lost to our generation. It is a Journey Back to Basics.

After a Pancake breakfast we spread out some fresh gravel on our bumpy driveway.
