The 2025 RAISE Health Symposium, co-hosted by Stanford Medicine and the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI), pushed beyond the hypotheticals, diving into real-world applications – with presentations that showcased how AI was actively transforming biomedicine. From accelerating drug discovery to enhancing diagnostics and access to care, AI’s potential proved vast, but so were the challenges of trust, safety, and governance.
