Still in Tobago with another video! This time we went to Tobago's highest waterfall, Argyle Waterfall. The highest of the Falls is 175' (54 meters) and of course after a hike we had to take a dip to cool down.
The next day we woke up at 4:30 am to be in the rain forest for a 5 hour dawn hike. Yep. We're that hardcore. The forest was so dense it was still very dark when we first entered and I even wore long sleeves from the chill. It very quickly heated up though after the first hour or so. We heard many more birds (parrots and hummingbirds) than we saw, but we did get to spot a couple TrapDoor Spider's homes, see signs of Manicou crabs and Amblypygi spiders (the kind used in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire to demonstrate the 3 Unforgivable Curses), as well as, other Arthropods, and study plenty of plants. My group didn't see any, but the other group saw a couple snakes too!
