When we moved from the U.S. to the U.K. we were nervous about how our animals were going to handle the 7 hour flight. Sedating your pets is now illegal (and for good reason), but we did a lot of research and found 3 amazing and naturally calming products for our cats.
The 3 Calming Products That Worked For Us:
1. Comfort Zone Spray (with Feliway, a stress reducing pheromone spray for their crates)
2. Puppy McQueen Lavender Spray
3. Happy Traveler (Naturally calming pills made with Chamomile by Ark Naturals)
We purchased 2 products off of Amazon and the other at a local pet store. It's important to test out the products before use so you know that your pets reacted well with them before the flight. We tested ours out before a drive to the vet in case of any complications.
The combination of these 3 products worked wonders for us and made the move a much more pleasant experience all around. Eleanor and Penny didn't cry in their crates or anything! As soon as they got in they lied down and calmly looked around.
