In this video, we're back in Tobago in the town of Castara where we stayed the whole two weeks.
During our one and only day off (Day 5) a few of us headed into town for some Rotis (a delicious wrap filled with curried meats and vegetables) then took a hike to find a nearby waterfall to swim in. It was so hot out that the cool waters were the perfect temperature and since we were covered by trees we didn't have to worry about getting burnt.
It was cool to see how even when we just had our feet in the fish would curiously come up to us. Afterwards, we hiked up the side to catch a glimpse of the area from the top of the falls.
A friendly local dog (who I affectionately named S'mores) joined us for the hike, the swim, and even when we went to the top of the waterfall! There are tons of "wild dogs" that the locals feed. It was always fun watching them play on the beach together and see their established pack dynamics and blatant territories.
