Electronica composition sequenced on the Elektron Digitakt and Model:Cycles. These two machines are plugged into the Line 6 Helix which again is being used as a mixer, audio interface and effects unit. The sound is then fed into Logic via USB.
For the bulk of the track the Digitakt is doing most of the work but for the end section the Cycles takes over most of the parts and there is a bit of CTRL all jamming.
The sequencers in both machines are being used. The Digitakt is sending clock and cc pattern changes to the Cycles. I went for lots of fill trig conditions in this tune plus various different scales and lengths on a per track basis.
The sounds in the Digitakt are a mix of one shot samples I've collected, resampled bits and a few stock sounds - all sculpted a fair bit more in the machine. The bass was created by sampling a Boss DM2w delay pedal in self oscillation, then mangled and filtered by the Digitakt. I also have this delay hooked up to an effects send on the helix with a switch set to momentary to get some delay throws (I only remembered to use it once in this take!)
The Strymon Big Sky, which I forgot to mention in the other videos isn't doing anything in this tune.
