Wobble bass style electronic composition sequenced and recorded live using the Elektron Digitakt and Model:Cycles.
In this track the Model Cycles is taking care of the bass, hi hats, the occasional tuned kick, some SFX and chords. The bass is done using two tracks for a layered sound - using the LFO to modulate the shape parameter and p locking the color, speed and pitch parameters on certain steps for variation in the sound.
The Digitakt is playing the voice samples, main kick and snare, SFX and some melodic parts.
I didn't use any external pedals or effects in the Helix on this track.
I used 14 patterns on the Digitakt and 14 on the Cycles and changed patterns manually in this recording.
This is the shortest tune I've done so far but for some reason it took the longest to complete... but it was fun :)
