Herb has been building his HO Layout for over 10 years now, and asked me to come over to document it on video.
The layout is housed in a garage that was formerly Herb's commercial wood shop. When he decided to retire, with the help of several friends, his layout was quickly under construction.
It is a walk-in folded dogbone design, with a total of 3 levels. He uses Digitrax DCC to operate his locomotives, and a Card Card forwarding system for car routing.
The intro lasts until 00:41
A "cabride" view is from 00:41 to 10:46
And an interview with Herb from 10:46 until the end of the video
Intro theme music:
"Pump" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)
