On the day before Thanksgiving, I dropped by the Sparks, NV, yard to catch some video of whatever might be going on. If it was quiet, I could at least record the California Zephyr headed to Oakland, CA, and running about an hour late. I was fortunate enough to find UP locomotive 5296, a GE model AC45CCTE, assembling a container train. Just about the time that job was finished, here came the Zephyr.
