This is my final short film I made for my college Moving Camera class, and a sequel to my previous project, "The Vibe Raiders". We wanted to make a more ambitious follow-up by shooting a bigger long take with a Ronin M. The film follows Vibe Raiders Duke and Don, as they raid a vibe manufacturing plant to take their lost vibes back from Brian Beck. "Raiders of the Lost Vibe" serves as an adaptation of sorts of the vibe check meme.
The film stars Jake Huber, Jordan Winfield, Brian Fennessey, Will Klotsas, Kyle Carozzi, Ben Nussbaum, Jack Landolt and Jarek Rutz. Joe DelGrippo, Kevin Ruehle and Adam Harel make their acting debuts. Special thanks to Jarek for providing his car for filming, and to Jake for checking out the equipment we used.
The first six and a half minutes are meant to appear as one continuous take. In total, there are eight separate clips for this sequence, and as such there's eight invisible cuts to tie them together. It took us about three hours to film this sequence, which was a bit tricky but totally worth it!
