This game is kinda ok? Keeps all the music and stage progression from Raiden II but with a lot of the graphics remade in flash. Runs extremely fast and I'm not sure that's how it would have played back in the day or not.
Even though they give you an absolutely ridiculous amount of lives to start with (15), chain deaths can drain them away pretty fast on hard. The bosses have an insane amount of life in this mode, especially the final boss which is just absurd. I couldn't ever really figure a way out to make the final boss doable without tanking a bunch of deaths, otherwise could probably play this forever since the loops don't increase in difficulty.
Also there are multiple 1 ups you can get, 1 on stage 3, 1 on stage 6, and 1 from defeating the final boss. Scoring is basically the same as the normal Raiden II, pickup medals and get end of stage bonuses for the bombs you have.
