Raghav Chadha has a new problem on his hands. And this one is not about changing parties. It is about his name changing status on the voter list. The BJP Rajya Sabha MP says he was stunned to find his name marked as “shifted” in Punjab’s draft electoral rolls.Now, Chadha is a registered voter in Mohali.And he says this is no innocent clerical slip.According to Chadha, this is political vendetta by the AAP government in Punjab.He has even asked the obvious question: who marked him as shifted?
Chadha alleges that officials involved in the electoral roll exercise are Punjab government employees, and claims they could face pressure over transfers, postings and careers.
