Not enough dragons.
Crazy, obsessive protagonist (which I liked) but also stupid (which I didn't like).
Bland world. It just felt like a stage. A backdrop. Not a world I could interact with.
Interesting magic system.
Bland side characters with an even blander love interest.
No personalities unless you are Tau.
Revenge quest, so that's always fun!
But then boring war parts and a billion terms to understand.
However, those fight scenes though.....epic.
So overall, this book is a balanced "meh" to me. A shrug.
Also, not enough dragons.
