[4K UHD] Spike SR Anti-Tank Missile is new capability in Finnish Defence Forces. The first troops are trained to use Spike SR in 2024. It is fire-and-forget anti-tank guided missile and anti-personnel missile with a tandem-charge high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT) warhead. It was developed and designed by the Israeli company Rafael Advanced Defense Systems. It is available in man-portable, vehicle-launched, helicopter-launched and maritime variants.

Rafale Spike SR anti tank missile / Anti Tank missile SR
The anti-tank missile PSTOHJ SR is a combatant’s single use anti-tank weapon, intended primarily against heavy main battle tanks, but it is also suitable for destroying assault vehicles and light vehicles, as well as weapon emplacements.
Crew: 1 (gunner)
Range: 50 - 2000 m
Usage pattern: The gunner locks the missile's seeker on the target and launches the missile. The missile is guided independently to the target regardless of its movement state or changes therein.
Weight: Approx. 10 kg
Country of manufacture: Israel
Infantry battle conducted with versatile weaponry
The infantry is capable of engaging many types of targets. In addition to soldiers’ personal weapon, troops are equipped with fire support and anti-tank weaponry, ground-based air defence capability and ability to use indirect fire to their advantage.
Infantry units have great fire power at close range. All soldiers are equipped with assault rifles and modern combat uniforms. Infantry fire support weaponry includes machine guns, grenade machine guns and heavy machine guns, the latter being used against both air and surface targets. Antitank fires are conducted with anti-tank weapons. Light anti-tank weapons are part of the equipment of all units. The focus of anti-tank measures is created with battalion and brigade anti-tank missile troops, mines and indirect fire.
In addition to direct fire, the infantry engages in combat also with indirect fire. Every infantry battalion includes a heavy mortar company. In addition, most infantry companies include a light mortar platoon. The forward observers of these set ups direct the fire of all the available fire units.
Infantry soldiers are transported mainly by all-terrain carriers or armoured personnel carriers. Mechanised troops are transported by armoured personnel carriers or infantry fighting vehicles.

Swedish cold war main battle tank
The Stridsvagn 103 (Strv 103), also known as the S-Tank, is a Swedish post-WWII main battle tank. It is known for its unconventional design: it is turretless with a fixed gun traversed by engaging the tracks and elevated by adjusting the hull suspension. While turretless armoured fighting vehicles are usually classified as assault guns or tank destroyers, despite its unique gun layingprocess, the Strv 103 is considered a tank because its designated combat role matched those of other tanks within contemporary Swedish doctrine. It is the only mass-produced tank since World War II to dispense with a turret.
The Strv 103 was designed and manufactured in Sweden. It was developed in the 1950s and was the first main battle tank to use a turbine engine. The result was a very low-profile design with an emphasis on survivability and heightened crew protection level. Strv 103s formed a major portion of the Swedish armoured forces from the 1960s to the 1990s

About Arsenalen:
The Swedish Tank Museum – Showing the military vehicle development, as well as the military history of Sweden, from the early 20th century until today. The museum also includes a very special exhibition of tin figures, as well as a soldier’s croft dating back to the 17th century, where an accompanying exhibition tells you about a bygone era.
The museum was inaugurated June 17, 2011 and is open year round. Run by a private foundation – Foundation Södermanland Military History collections. The vehicles belong to the Swedish Government – the Swedish National Museums of Military History. The vehicles were previously located to the Tank Museum in Axvall and Military Vehicle Museum in Malmköping. The collection includes about 350 vehicles, of which about 75 are on display in the museum. Some parts of the exhibition changes each year.
Beside the museum there is an original soldiers croft from late 19th century with an accompanying exhibition, The Soldier and the Croft. An exhibition about the history of the local Regiment (Södermanland regiment) tell the story from 14thcentury until 2005 when the regiment was closed. The figure museum is a private collection which previously existed as a museum in Hjortnäs in Dalarna.
