DMCubing | Quick Update on my Magnetic Valk 3 Project - And quick shoutouts @dmcubing6342 | Uploaded November 2016 | Updated October 2024, 4 minutes ago.
Finally finished my Magnetic Valk 3 today! YIPPE! Used N35 4x2 magnets in it which gives it a noticeable, yet subtle feel about what N48 mags feel like in the black GTS. To me personally, I think the 'perfect' magnet would probably be somewhere around N42. Not too long ago I bought some "N52" magnets from ebay, but the seller had been misled as to their real grade. When I got them in, I immediately noticed they weren't 52s or even 48s! She very graciously apologized and gave me my money back and allowed me to keep the magnets.Anyway, I believe her magnets are probably closer to N42. Initially I thought they were 35s, but now since I have real 35s, I'm fairly certain hers are 42s. They might be the perfect magnet for a Valk 3 if you want a magnetic feel but not too much, like what the 48s gave the GTS Illusion. Still, the N35s are nice. It's subtle. But they are there. I had for the longest time used this particular cube just as it was out of the box, with a light, breezy, quick movement. Now, I've lubed it as I do all my cubes, Hetman 7 on the axial screws, Hetman 6 on the pieces. It's perhaps slightly gummy, but WOW how smooth it is. It's a super nice cube. Still, for all the mag cubes that I've made so far, the Weilong GTS Illusion is still my favorite.
Anyway, this was just a quick update with a short shoutout! I know you younger youtubers want recognition, so it doesn't bother me to give a little shoutout. A lot of you guys really work hard on your channel content. I certainly never expected my sub count to go up so fast, and I realize a lot of you guys have been at this a while, with still a small sub count. Just hang in there, try to do your best, don't try to force subs (don't spam comment sections begging for subs, etc.), and try to be original, and I truly believe you'll have all the subs you desire.
