DMCubing | Magnetizing the MoYu MF3RS2 Speed Cube @dmcubing6342 | Uploaded January 2018 | Updated October 2024, 7 minutes ago.
Just a quick overview on this cube, because you already really know how to magnetize it!! The method is identical to several of my tutorials: the Yuxin Little Magic, the Weilong GTS2, and even the original MF3RS, in that the position of the magnets is identical, as is the gluing technique. (Links to those videos, below)
There are a couple of minor differences in this cube, particularly if you plan on using a wider magnet, like the 5x1. Here, you'll need to position the magnets up along the cubie piece wall just a little bit higher. But don't worry, I'll show you how, in this video.
I've actually forgotten to tell how many magnets to use in a couple of my videos. OOPS. You'll need 48 Neodymium magnets. For this cube, several magnets are good to use:
N42 or N48 5x1
N35 4x2
N35 4x1.5
