Elite Challenge ain't the only side series I've been at work on! These shorter quick takes will cover thoughts or personal ideas on recent gaming news or speculation. And...might as well start by drawing a lot of aggro, I suppose!
Fire Emblem's polarized presence in Smash precedes itself, and little has changed with Three Houses just a few months away. There's been on-and-off speculation on whether a character from the upcoming game might get an invite to Ultimate's ongoing DLC, and while it's focused most so far on Edelgard, I believe what we learned in the recent Direct has opened up Byleth has a legitimate alternative. So what potential does Byleth have that _might_ lead to them getting the nod in the long run? Here's what I've found.
