With the Switch 2 officially out, it's only a matter of time until the new console gets some kind of Smash Bros. game to call its own. Whenever "Smash 6" happens, it'll need to find ways to stand out on its own compared to its precedessor. Especially since Ultimate will still be playable!
There's one way (out of many) the next game could accomplish that. More and more fans have been hoping Smash 6 retools more returning characters, especially the series' long runners. What if they put a new spin on the series' veterans by outright replacing specials for several of them? Let's see what that could look like for 16 different veteran fighters, and what new specials could take their place!
