We all kind of take Smash Bros. for granted as it is, don't we? All the characters, stages, modes, they're all the end result of countless decisions made behind the scenes. Decisions we're all used to by now.

But have you ever wondered what could've been if things had been...different? If one character chosen over another, if more time had been available to fine tune certain features, if circumstances completely changed Smash as we know it?

This is the beginning of an alternate path Smash could've gone down. One where its first two games ended up a little different in some very interesting ways...
