As a small farmer, you’re equipped to fill the needs and solve the problems of many local restaurants. The tricky part of acquiring restaurant prospects is showing them that you have the ability to give them the produce and care that they want.

When you first approach prospective clients, be sure to get to know their current situation and pain points. Some questions to start the conversation are:

What produce are you currently using?
How much?
What improvements would you like to see on your current produce supply?
What do you currently pay? Do you feel you ought to get better quality for that price?
What are the frustrating parts of your supply chain? (Delivery times? Quality? Customer support?)
