The Queens Zoo, located in Flushing Meadows, NYC is 18 acres and has 75 species, and only takes about two hours to see everything. Come with us as we show you a massive bird aviary, a sea lion training session/show and individual exhibits where you'll see animals such as: American Bison, Andean Bear, Chacoan Peccary, Coyote, Roosevelt Elk, Bald Eagle, Puma (mountain lion), Lynx, thick-billed Parrot and owl. There's even a section near the front entrance with farm animals. Despite being small, the Queens Zoo is a worthwhile visit while in New York City and we hope our little tour of it encourages you to go. The tickets cost less than a pint of good beer. As of this video they are $9.95 for adults, $6.95 for children and $7.95 for seniors. Parking is free, but limited.
