Magellan and Greyhound | Ireland Kayak - Ardmore Coast Sea Caves | Ireland, Ep. 21 @MagellanandGreyhound | Uploaded September 2020 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
We didn't expect to explore sea caves off the Ardmore Coast in our second and final Ireland kayak, but it was well worth it. What made the trip really enjoyable was that it was just us and our guide. We essentially paddled from the town of Ardmore in County Waterford, Ireland down past Ardmore Head to the Samson crane wreck and seal caves, then on to Ram Head and in and out of several caves and mini slot canyons of sorts along the southern coast. We cannot thank our tour guide Ardmore Adventures enough for the amazing experience. It was near the end of our long road trip around Ireland, and was definitely one of the most memorable.
This video is the twenty-first of a daily video series of our travels to Ireland and Northern Ireland in June of 2018. From walking the lush greenery in the rugged hills and glens, hiking the breathtaking cliffs and coastal mountains, exploring caves and crags and remote off-shore islands, to the castles and ruins and hallmarks of pre-neolithic civilizations, we can honestly say it was one of the best times we have ever had. And do you know what was the most beautiful about the Emerald Isle? The people. In the cities or the countryside, to the north and the south, in pubs, tea rooms or during a walk. Some of the most warm, kind, affable (and usually very funny) people you will ever meet are in Ireland, and they'll be sure to fill you in on where all the good craic is.
If interested in our trip, please keep checking out this playlist as the series is released.
