The last Saturday of every April, over 15,000 people descend upon Carrington and Bill Price's property in Mineral Springs, NC - just southeast of Charlotte - to celebrate the Queen's Cup Steeplechase. The Prices - who live on the property year-round - have been hosting this annual fete since 1995. The 260 acre tract in Brooklandwood is protected by a permanent conservation easement from the Catawba Lands Conservancy.
