As I go through these maps, I've started to realize that I no longer think consciously about them at all. My brain goes on autopilot (which sometimes isn't helpful when it comes to remembering doors), but it sure does make the fights easy.

This is not a game that does good boss fights.
Interesting gameplay. I think the fixed camera angles often hurt it, since its so common to just get bodied from offscreen. Its certainly something that I think a skilled player could avoid, but I am not one of those.
I didnt dislike the combo system, which I thought I would, since this is such an arcade game on its face that its not really trying to be horror at all.
The difficulty was all over the place, with it only being tight on resources near the start of the game. I dont think I ever died, although I came close a few times.
The plot was weirdly sparse until it did a lore dump and I think ended on a cliffhanger that was also a time paradox? Admittedly I wasnt paying all that much attention.
Anyway, it was fine.")

Not going to do the bug missions because I cant be bothered.
Wasnt a big fan of this one. I havent read the book or seen the movie (I know, heresy), so thats partly on me, but the mission objectives and encounters all just felt the same, even if most of the weapons felt good to use.")

Realized partway through that I was not, in fact, running it at the native resolution. Whoops.
Embarrassingly long amount of time before I realized that I missed some plywood.
I am wondering where the lizard woman ended up. I guess she was just in the tutorial zone? Strange. This game has really weird progression, what with most of my rings being from there. And then it feels like Im supposed to be able to move faster what with the jumps being so picky in the chef fight and that bird challenge.")

I remember the Margueritte fight feeling weird the first time I did it, and it felt weird this time too. Im sure I wasted way too much ammo shooting her when she wasnt vulnerable. Probably she only takes damage when she splashes out brown goop, but it seems like the red goop indicates that it might stun her? Not sure.
Doubt the lack of ammo will hurt me too much, given how much of a breeze it has been so far.")
