I have made several islands in Gaea but never thought to create a video about it. So this one is to give you a few ideas on how you can create an island form to render in your engine of choice :)

$vue 10.5 MDK in terrains This Video talks about using Quadspinners MDK 1.1 in procedural terrains instead of just as a bump or displacement on objects. Ive put a few things for people new to Vue.. but I expect this will be most useful to intermediate users ..If youre not aware of the MDK set, go to the quadspinner store, its really reasonably priced.. just a few dollars for some really great tools. Besides the element of the use of the MDK I talk about about the rocky mountain fractal a little to get a good base, and blending of multiple fractal nodes using the blender. I also run though a solution to a bug when pressing undo in the node editor. Hope you enjoy Just a side note.. this was done at work and so there are some pauses where people came in to ask questions. but I think its barely noticable :)$
