QCAD Tutorial Draw HS 40 Servo Step by Step

QCAD is an affordable ($40, with a free version) and easy to use 2D Computer Aided Design (CAD) program for Windows, Mac and Linux computers.

QCAD has been around a while and is a mature, fully developed 2D CAD program. Just about any action you can think of, has been incorporated into the program.

In this video I will take you step by step on how to draw a Hitec HS-40 servo. The servo is drawn full size and can be copied and applied to any RC model airplane you may design.

There are numerous techniques with using QCAD. For the servo, I will use a parallel line technique, with editing of the lines as needed for the final product. In addition, I'll demonstrate the use of construction lines to aid in the three view drawing.
