Would this puzzle game have made a big impact on the arcade scene had it been released? Probably not, but I'm sure it would have found some fans at least. Gameplay is sorta like Panel de Pon except you gotta match 4 instead of 3 colors, which can be diagonal in addition to the usual horizontal or vertical. I kept thinking I was about to lose but always ended up hitting the quota just in time, so I guess I did better at this than the average obscure puzzle game? That might mean it was too easy and wasn't making enough money on location test, lol. Who knows, who knows

Last time I streamed this was back in February 2022 and I forgot to export the VOD to youtube! Dangit! So I decided to re-tackle it with cheevos this time. Almost mastered the set but came up one short, requires a deathless run at this point (or good luck with the 1ups on Stage 5 because apparently theyre RNG?? how fun). Maybe Ill try to knock off that last achievement at some point in the near future, who knows, who knows")

The SNES game recently got a revision on RA, I hadnt done the set at all so now was a good time to try. I spent the first run trying to remember what to do, by the second run things went a lot smoother.
also played the GBA Pocky & Rocky With Becky, which is a much simpler game so there wasnt too much to the set either. I just like making jokes about the name.
so what about Pocky & Rocky 2? the set looked kinda miserable, and I didnt actually enjoy the game that much when I played it the first time. Not sure if Ill give it a shot in the future")

Sega CD version was easy baby game, TG-16 version is definitely tougher. Did not get the clear on Super difficulty, enemies produce revenge bullets and its pretty nuts. I may come back to attempt that at some point in the future.")
