Cape Ingolfshofdi is home to thousands of puffins from late May through August. It is half way between Skaftafell in Vatnajokull National Park and Jökulsárlón ice lagoon. To reach the best viewing are you ride in a hay cart pulled by a tractor! More than half the worlds population of Atlantic Puffins reside in Iceland. And as a result, Iceland has become the puffin watching capital of the world. For this video we were able to get within 10' of the Puffin WITHOUT disturbing them!
