Public lands cleanups are always a priority for us. In this video, we attend the 2023 clean Dezert cleanup in Barstow California. Public lands cleanups are a great way to keep our public lands open.
We start the video off with a brief description of why it's important to keep our public lands clean and open. Also practicing leave no trace principles is quite helpful in general. Barstow California always gets a lot of illegal dumping from local residents but unfortunately these ares will also get closed to offroaders, just like the closures in Moab Utah. This public land clean-up happens every year and we typically fill 10-15 dumpsters. This year we help out the event by cooking for all of the volunteers, people need to eat!
