Psyko Seven is a line of cigars that was introduced by the Ventura Cigar Company. It is a collaboration between Patrick Hurd, AKA El Diablo Blanco, who is the general manager of Ventura Cigars and Henke Kelner of Davidoff Cigars. These cigars were launched in 2013 and were initially produced in the Occidental Davidoff Cigar Factory in the Dominican Republic. Since the Occidental factory had been converted for storage, the production was transferred to the OK Cigar factory floor.
The Natural features a Dominican Cuban-seed wrapper, a Mexican Sumatra binder, and Peruvian Pelo de Oro viso, Honduran Holancha seco, Pennsylvanian ligero as well as a Dominican hybrid in the filler.

The Psyko Seven Natural features a toothy-looking wrapper with a firm spring, and a dark appearance. Its construction appears consistent with no bympy spots. It has an oily sheen and reveals aromas of straw, cedar, and cocoa.

Although there is some resistance, the Natural offers a good draw. It delivers dry notes of cloves, nutmeg, and leather.
03:35 - Tasting Notes
The first third opens with flavours of earth, copper, and creamy brandy butter. Meanwhile, the second third unveils charred oak, toasted brioche, and the cloves experienced in the prelight.
Finally, the last third is more robust with hints of ground coffee and spicy black pepper, which is softened by cinnamon.
However, it's not overly complex even if it provides a smooth, velvety mouthfeel with a balanced palate stimulation. Indeed, the life-cycle isn't overly developed and it does slightly lack in evolution. Nevertheless, it's an easygoing smoke with a lingering finish.

The Psyko Seven Natural provides the smoker with a consistent draw and excellent construction. Any burn line waviness is only minor and the cigar corrects itself after the first third. Similarly, the backbone is strong and allows you to keep a single ash throughout the first third. Finally, the Natural offers an overall cool smoke.
05:41 - Overall Experience
Psyko Seven cigars have excellent bands, which cover the entire cigar and resemble the prescription that you would see on a medicine bottle. In removing this band, you will notice that the cigar has a second one so you won't be enjoying it without any ornamentation.
As for the box, you can see it in the written review. It is a narrow, rectangular box in white. On the underside of the lid, you'll see more information about the blend.
In terms of value for money, it costs just $8.50 for a single, which is impressive given that it was produced by a Davidoff factory.
Finally, we'd be reluctant to smoke this cigar on a formal occasion given the band's unorthodox design. Nevertheless, it's a great choice for enjoying with friends or at more casual events.

In terms of snacks, we would suggest pairing the Psyko Seven Natural with pretzels, dark chocolate, or even at a barbecue.
As for beverages, we recommend a Fine Champagne cognac, a Highland Single Malt, or even a Kentucky Bourbon. Meanwhile, coffee drinkers ought would best enjoy it with an espresso.
